push yourself to go to bed earlier.start with 11pm. then 10pm. then 9pm,
learn to meditate before bedtime, shut off or silence devices.
sleep so important for recovery for your body, it also gives the brain time to reset.
wake up in the morning feeling re-energized.
push yourself to get up earlier, start 7am then 6am then 5.30am.find a hill or view where you can watch the sunrise. dress for the weather,and enjoy the moment of a new beginning.
get into the habit of cooking yourself a yummy breakfast. poach some eggs, cook up some tomatoes and mushrooms in onion and garlic. it can even be oat with fruit and yoghurt,
take out your favorite cup and make a coffee or tea.
set the table and sit down and enjoy your breakfast and do nothing but eat.
start stretching. reach your hands to the sky and rolling roll down towards the ground.
join a yoga or pilates class, take friend and make an occasion of it go for a cuppa after
buy yourself a 1 litre water bottle, start by drinking one bottle a day, then two bottles a day.
buy yourself a beautiful diary and pen. write everything you do in the diary, including dinner dates, appointments, coffee dates. even add in your favorite recipes or outfits. no detail too small. there is no right or wrong with journaling.
strip you bed , take your PJs ( if you wear any) and wash with in a scented fabric softener, make your bed, get yourself some beautiful cushions or throw rug and make your bedroom a space you want to be in
tidy your wardrobe, throw out or give to charity clothes you don't wear anymore.
light a candle,
nothing better then climbing into clean sheets
have a bath or long shower. lights some candle, put on some nice music ( even grab a wine) wash your hair, scrub your body , shave, after lather your body in lotion.
push yourself to go for a walk. take your headphone and just walk ( or run) smile at strangers that you pass, you will be amazed at how many people will smile back.
message an old friend and reminisce. suggest a catchup
think about what your interests are, what books you like to read or shows you watch.
find a good book and read, true crime, romance or gardening, there are books out there for everything, find a podcast that interest you.
put on your favourite playlist and just dance.
use your precious things, things you are saving for a special occasion, make everyday special. Wear your jewellery,put on the lipstick and perfume
wear the clothes that make you feel comfortable or sexy.
put on your heels even if its just to walk around the house in.
dressup / dress down, you do you.
life is what you make of it and its far too short to have to deal with bad vibes.
make your world around you the best place, make it somewhere that you want to live in, not run away from.
