Weight Loss/Fat Loss Plateau

Are you in a weight plateau?
I know I was ( with a slow weight gain )
So I decided I need to make some changes.
To make my changes doable and something I will stick to I had to make small changes
I am In week 3 of changing my habits and these are the small changes I’ve made
my first small change was I decided that 3 times a week after bootcamp I would go for a short walk ( making it doable specially on days I have to go to work ) it is a short 15/25 Minute walk.
I do longer walk/s (45mins/1hour) on the weekend
My second small change was alcohol
I starting drink 3/4 times a week, a glass or 2, but still I don’t need those calories or alcohol and I sleep better too which is a big win for weight loss.
My next small change will be I am going to start running again once or twice a week.
I have been lifting weights mainly for 4 years with only a little running and over the last 1 1/2 years my weight has slowly gone up.
I change up my weight routine every month but other than the odd run not much cardio, so I am going to add some more cardio in my routine.
These are just examples of what I needed to do to make the changes I wanted.
You may say but exercise is such a small part of fat loss
And you would be right , so the changes I made to my food
Change 1 : I made my portions smaller
Change 2: curbing my afternoon / night snacking ( this one is hard )
Change 3: thinking about what I am eating ,as in making healthier choices for me.
what that means for ME
⭐️not eating out as much
⭐️Cutting back on high calories low nutritional food.
⭐️have potion control snacks on hand
⭐️less alcohol
I am not cutting food groups just more mindful of what I eat
Often if you weight is not moving and you think you are eating less there is a good changes you are not.
Tracking is not for everyone but it is a useful tool , you maybe surprised.
